Collaborate

Overview

This Qualtrics 'Collaborate' feature permits you to give other users access to your surveys when they log into their Qualtrics accounts. This way you can work on the same project simultaneously without giving out your account information. You can even choose to restrict what type of access other users have to your project. For example, if you have translators working on your project, you can make sure they have editing privileges, but no access to the data you collect. Collaborators for a Qualtrics survey can only be Teachers College faculty, staff, or student who have logged into TC Qualtrics at least once.

Add a collaborator

  • To the far right of the survey name, click the three dots (...) .

  •  Click Collaborate.

  • Enter the collaborator's last name or UNI in the box at the top. Click on their name when it appears on the list. If their name doesn't appear, they need to log into Qualtrics before you can enter them.

  • Click Add.

  • You can optionally type in text to send the collaborator an email message. Then, click OK.

  • Select the appropriate permissions for the collaborator. For example, you can allow a collaborator to View Reports, but not Edit the survey.

  • When you have added all collaborators, click Save in the lower right corner.
