Create a Survey

Overview

 

 

A Project in Qualtrics consists of a survey, distribution record, and collection of responses and reports.  Blank survey projects are surveys in Qualtrics that you build from scratch. 

 

 

Begin a New Survey

Follow these instructions to Create a Blank Survey Project:

 

• On the Qualtrics home page, click the Create new project button

 

 

•  Click on CoreXM on the top and choose Survey.

 

 

• For the purposes of this demonstration, we are going go select Blank Project. Provide a name for your new Qualtrics project. Projects not placed into a folder will remain in your Uncategorized list of projects. After naming your project, click Get Started.
  • Blank Project: Start with a blank survey project and build it to suit your needs
  • From a Copy: A new survey based on a copy of an existing survey you created or have access to
  • From Library: A new survey based on a copy of a survey from your own or a shared library
  • From a File: A new survey based off of a previously exported file of a Qualtrics survey

 

 

• You will be brought to your new survey. You can now begin adding questions and working on your survey layout.

 

 

*You can create a new survey project from scratch, from a copy of an existing survey, from a template in your Survey Library, or from an exported QSF file.
