Visualizing Data - Word Cloud (Win)

A word cloud is a word frequency query used to generate a word cloud and help you find commonly used words and phrases. This is useful as an end product and a good tool to help you learn about what is going on with your data. 

 

 

  • To create a Word Cloud click on the Explore ribbon, within the Query group, and click Word Frequency. 

 

 

  • Enter in the amount of most frequent words you want to display.

 

 

  • Click Run Query. 

 

 

  • On the bottom right side, click on Word Cloud.

 

 
 
  • Your word cloud will be created. 

 

 

  • To export your word cloud, right click the word cloud and select Export Word Cloud.

 

 

  • Select the location of the exported word cloud by clicking the location  you want on the left navigation window.

 

 

  • Type the name of your word cloud in the File name: text box.

 

 

  • Select the format you want the word cloud to be exported to by clicking the drop-down arrow next to the Save as type: text box.

 

 

  • Click Save.
