Visualizing Data - Word Tree

• To create a word tree, click Query and then click Text Search.

 

• Type in the word you want to search for under Search For.

 

• Then, click Run Query and then click Word Tree.

 

 

• Once you click Word Tree, NVivo will make a word tree like shown below.

 

 

• To export your word tree, right click or command + click the word tree and select Export.

 

 

• Select the location of the exported word tree by clicking the location you want using the drop-down arrow next to the Where: text box.

 

 

• Type the name of your word tree in the Save As: text box.

 

 

• Select the format you want the word tree to be exported to by clicking the drop-down arrow next to the File Format: text box.

 

 

• Click OK.
