Creating Your EndNote Library

  • Citations in EndNote are stored in Libraries. You can have different libraries for different projects. For example, you might have a dissertation library and a separate coursework library. In this Module you will learn how to create an EndNote library, which will allow you to organize and store your references.

 

  • To create a library, first open EndNote by going to Finder. Click Applications. Then double click on EndNote

 

 

  • To create a new library, click File. Then click New.

 

 

  • Enter a name for your library. Click the Browse button and choose a location to save your project. Then, click Save.
